A New Day

Scripture Focus: Psalm 118:17-24


"Our loving heavenly Father, today we say, 'Thanks be to God!' Thank you for all we've encountered in life: the people that have given it more meaning, the opportunities we've learned much from, the challenges that we have had to overcome. Each new day we thank you for the chance to live our life once again. 


"Thank you for all you've abundantly given us: the hard lessons that have helped us know ourselves and others better and the multiple discoveries of reality and truth. Thank you for the good things we have grasped and the bad that we have dodged, for the solutions we have found and the talents we have grown, for the victories we have earned and the beautiful days that we have lived. Thank you for our parents who loved us and the friends we have met. Thank you for the growing awareness that God is tending us despite our mistakes, protecting us despite our weaknesses, loving us despite our flaws, and finding solutions for us despite our stubbornness.

What started out as a free class offered at a local church has turned into a craft that she is surprisingly good at. She even sells some of her pieces at a local plant nursery.
